A health & Social Care service responding to vulnerable adults within the City of Southampton, assisting with hospital discharges & avoiding hospital & care home admissions.

As an experienced care assistant, your role will include assessments, emergency care plans, monitoring clients over a two week period and right sizing care packages to help with the handover from hospital discharge to a new domiciliary care provider.

Pay

Excellent remuneration package equivalent to £11.54ph including paid holiday & pension
Earn cicra £26,237pa based on 7 shifts per week (days:4 on 3 off)

Join our team on a full time or part time shift basis, being 7am-2pm or 2pm-9pm, where you can work as many or as little of these shifts as you like to make up your desired hours.

The Role

We make it possible for people who need care or support to maintain independence in the comfort of their own home. You will support our clients with everyday tasks such as getting into and out of bed, washing and dressing, preparing food & prompting medication.

Training

No experience is needed as a fully funded bespoke training scheme, which we pay YOU for, is provided
We will encourage and support you to achieve your QCF Level 2,3+ in Health and Social Care
Internal progression is pushed & encouraged & we always promote from within.

Pay

We offer an excellent remuneration package equivalent to £11.54ph including paid holiday, pension PLUS 45p per mile for drivers on top of that.
A chance to earn more through progression- Senior Carers £11.79ph & Supervisors £12.04ph
We also offer contracted hours once probation is completed
You will be paid time & a half on bank holidays & double pay on Christmas & New Years day
And we are currently funding DBS checks
To top it off, we also pay all staff an annual Bonus

We need people to help deliver care and support to our clients in the south of the New Forest including New Milton, Lymington and surrounding areas.
 

The Role

We are the lead provider for Hampshire County Council in the Forest, which means they come to us first, whether its full time or part time shifts you are after, we are never short of hours! We help the NHS get people out of hospital and back living in their own homes, as well as look after those who just need some assistance with everyday tasks.

Training

We know you might have no experience so we give you full paid training, then a mentor and as much shadowing experience as you need. An opportunity to complete your QCF Level 2,3+ in Health and Social Care. Plus, if its a career you are after, we actively promote from within and internal progression is encouraged.

Pay

Excellent remuneration package equivalent to £14.00 per hour weekdays and £15.00 per hour weekends (PLUS 1.5x on Bank Holidays, and 2x for Christmas Day and New Year Day)
For 42 hours a week you will earn circa £27,000, which includes paid holiday and pension
We also offer contracted hours once probation is completed
