Being the most rapidly expanding out of all our locations, and with a kindred atmosphere as soon as you step through our doors on Havant Road, we have built excellent relationships with all our clients and carers and are quickly catching up with Southampton being Enthuse Cares second biggest office!

With our staff room stocked with DVDs and books to keep the Carers entertained on their breaks and proud hosts of Breakfast Club running every morning, our Portsmouth office really has that second home feeling.

Partnering with Portsmouth City Council, we cover Cosham, Drayton, Havant, Gosport, Fareham, Portchester, South Sea & Waterlooville, look after more than 100 carers and cover more than 10000 hours’ worth of care!

With over 5 years of partnership working, we have supported the council in providing quality work to our council clients and continue to support elderly and vulnerable residents.

As a new mum and an ex professional chef, I had no idea where I was heading once my maternity leave was up.

One day, I thought ‘wouldn’t it be nice to do care work?’ and that’s exactly what I did. Enthuse Care Portsmouth took me under their wing and gave me an incredible amount of confidence, promoting me to a senior carer within just three months. I have worked in the care sector since I was 18, starting my part time training at college. I accidently got into care as the job I applied for advertised cleaning and shopping for the elderly, however it was not. But I fell in love with it, as you do, moved to Portsmouth, found Enthuse Care and have never looked back!

I started with Enthuse Care as a Carer, then onto Senior Carer and I’m now working full time in the office as Care Coordinator. Enthuse Care is the best care company I have ever worked for. As a mum ( a very tired mum)…

After 16 years of working my way up in a completely different industry. I found myself looking for a new career with a different path. A path that would fill a long empty void and reignite my passion for working. As a mum of 3, I found myself applying for a care position here at Enthuse. I started with zero work-based care experience.

Right from the start of this new journey, I quickly realised care was where I was meant to be 8 months later, I was lucky enough to get my first promotion to senior carer, a position I strived to excel at, I loved it here at Enthuse and the team became family. Bit by bit I came into the office more and more, helping out where I could. Even dipping my toes in to the Enthuse world of training. Now, 2 years down my wonderful new path I find myself within my newest promotion, as a Portsmouth Supervisor and I couldn’t be happier.
